BLACK & DECKER DESIGN STRATEGY

The Black and Decker Design Guide outlined the strategy for designing tools for our target user, the novice and intermediate.     Guiding principles focused on key principles important to our user, while integrating a novel approach to fixed and evolving elements.   This  established a consistent brand identity while allowing the designs to evolve to stay modern. The document helped guide internal and external global design teams, providing a reliable resource to ensure consistent application of design elements for new Black and Decker Tools.
