The process began by identifying the core values central to our user and establishing a design philosophy to guide our designs. The design language focuses on reinforcing the core values and carrying the brands historic legacy into a new line of cordless 18v tools. A formalized industrial design guide established clear and consistent expectations, enabling design and development of the tools by global teams. Platform expansion was streamlined as focus was on creating valued customer solutions through innovation.
